We received an e-mail from Pam about her cuties:
This is about two of our cats, Sheba, a grey and white female tabby aged 14 and Fudge a fluffy ginger and white male who was 2.  I say was because sadly he was run over last year.

We have an attic in our house, reached by a wooden ladder and whenever they heard the ladder being brought down, they would appear from where ever they happened to be, even down the garden.  They would shoot up the ladder and disappear into the depths of the house to reappear hours later with cobwebs attached to ears, whiskers and chin.  They would then sit at the trapdoor and wait for us to go up with a basket to bring them down.  Sheba particularly seems to have an aversion to going down and one time spent three days trapped on a neighbour's dormer roof, which was too steep for her to come down.  We used to have to grab hold of the cats and bring them down by force, trying to prise claws off anything we passed on the way down, including me!  One day Sheba jumped into an empty paper box that was next to her and I brought her down in that but it was a little precarious.  On a later occasion there was a basket up there which she hopped into and then sat and waited to be brought down, which has solved the problem.
So cute.   Thanks, Pam!
