As an avid crafter and animal lover both mean a great deal to me.  I was delighted when I discovered felting!   I the past, as a keepsake when they die, I have kept a small envelope with a clipping of said four leggerd friend's fur.  For the past couple of years I have kept the hair from the groomers and the hair from combings and plan on using it in a future project.  I haven't been inspired past the collecting stage yet but I have quite a bit of Odin's golden retriever locks, a large contribution from Sophi my Maine Coon, and even CC & Nikita's short Bengal coats have a small ziplock.  I'd like to do a wall hanging honering their sprits, love and laughter they have brought me over the years.  Any ideas?

Oh wow, what a unique idea!

One of the ladies here in customer service actually had some of her dog's hair spun into a yarn for knitting/crocheting.  You'll have to keep us updated on the project!
