And here is another one. "Hello! My name is Judy Duelo and I live in Golden Valley, a suburb of Minneapolis. I cross-stitched this 5-panel Nativity designed by Becky Waldrop. The charted design comes in 6 different leaflets. There are over 140 colors of embroidery floss, over 40 metallic Kreinik threads, and Medici wool (for the sheep!) I'm most proud of this finished work because of the time that it took to complete it :) I've had many ask me why I would spend so much time on something that I display just once a year during the Christmas season, and my answer is that every year when I unwrap it I see it with new eyes. I especially loved working on the angels' gossamer wings."

Hello Judy,

I also finished the 5 panel nativity but I am having trouble with the stretching.  I bought the frame that was made for it, and stretched it myself, but after a few years, the fabric seemed to loosen and I didn't like the look of it. So, I took the 5 panels to a professional framer and had it restretched.  He did no better than I did, it is loose looking again.  I hang it in the hallway 11 months of the year and it is on my mantle for the other month.  Did you have any trouble with the stretching and is the fabric still tight looking.  I am like you and enjoy looking at it, and all the work was worth it.  It is one of my most treasured pieces.

I have also done this nativity scene. I have had no trouble with it stretching – I had it done professionally. I have mine hanging up all year around. There was just too much work in doing it not to enjoy it all year. We go to Arizona for the winter months, so I took a picture of it, had it enlarged & it hangs on my wall there. I have had so many compliments on the finished piece.
