Hello to all. I am now retired but I am still an avid embroiderer. I am still a tutor for my local Guild & design most of my own embroidery. I specialise in Elizabethan embroidery & Stumpwork. I have written a book of Elizabethan designs & instructions mostly because my students wanted more designs. I have won 7 awards to date in exhibitions both local & away. I am currently working on a stumpwork peacock which also employs some silk shading. I am widowed with 2 sons – one of which is just married so I now have a daughter-in-law to make things for.
