Hi, I just joined this site and am learning how things work. As for me I just love Swedish Weaving. This type of needlework is easy to learn and works up fast. Are there any other Canadians doing Swedish Weaving in this group?

It was interesting to read your post. When I was attending a one room country school in the '50s I did some simple Huck Embroidery. We had a time each Friday afternoon when we did some sort of hand work. Not long ago in cleaning out my cedar chest I found the little towel that I had done. I remember it being a fun thing to do. Thank you for your comment Nadine.
I would love to see your work. It is so nice seeing projects from out past. I usually carry Huck Toweling but am out at this time. What types of needlecrafts do you do? I am hooked on Swedish Weaving but am interested in trying Canvass work and Hardanger sometime in the future. The key is trying to find the time.
