How do I add pictures to the forum?

You can post up to 5 pictures in your forum account, or link to any photos you have online elsewhere.  To link to a photo in your profile, log in to your account on the forum, then click on the "Profile" link in the upper, right-hand side (below "Tools", next to "Logout" and "Members").  From there you can update a lot of your account information.  Simply click on "Setup Your Photos" then input the URL address of where the photos are stored.  And make sure to click on "Update Profile" to save the information.
 
How do I add pictures to my posts?

You can link to a picture within a post once you are writing your post by clicking on the little tree icon in the blue toolbar (the tree icon is next to the big "A" font button and the film strip icon).  Then simply input the URL address where your image is and the image will be inserted into the post.
 
There are many free hosting services that you can sign up for (flickr.com, photobucket.com) to store your images online.

Can I link to other vendors in my posts?

Yes, but please let us know beforehand!  We definitely want to promote projects, ideas, and a community spirit, so we love your suggestions and your sharing amongst each other.  But due to certain policies, Nordic Needle does prefer to approve competitor vendor link posts for products we don't carry.
