Hi, I'm Judi from Florida.

I have been stitching most of my life, it seems as I started with stamped crewel when I was a child -- won some ribbons at Chicago Park District art fairs back then, actually -- then on and off while I was a teenager/young adult. Started seriously stitching again in my 30s, stamped embroidery graduating to cross stitch, which I still do. I love it. I'm trying to teach myself Hardangar because I find it gorgeous but because I'm also in graduate school and working full time, there's just so much time and no more.

Other than school, work, and stitching, I'm a dedicated die-hard Chicago Cubs fan (and watch the rest of Major League Baseball every chance I get when my boys in blue are off, it's my other addiction!), reader, and happy wife of a man with a 1990 Gold Wing GL 1500. A lot of my so-called spare time is spent on the back of that bike! We have three sons and two granddaughters, as well as four nieces and two nephews, all of whom have received something of my stitiching.

Like this board and love Nordic Needle!
