Sour Cream Raisin Bars

  • One and three-fourths cup oatmeal
  • One and three-fourths cup flour
  • One cup brown sugar
  • One tsp baking soda
  • One cup softened butter

Mix all together and reserve one and one-half cup for top. Put remainder in bottom of 9" x 13" cake pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Beat four egg yokes and add:

  • One and one-half cups white sugar
  • Three tablespoons cornstarch
  • Two cups sour cream (16 oz)
  • Two cups raisins

Bring these ingredients to a boil and then cook on low heat for 5 – 10 minutes, stirring often

Pour over the crust and then top with the remaining crumbs.

Bake for 22 minutes at 350 degrees.
